My 2nd interpretation of a Mary figurine. I used the same reference image for this painting and my first Madonna, but here I used a more traditional technique of varying the value of the subpixels rather than the amount of subpixels.
The painting is on a 12×6×1.5” cradled basswood panel, which is painted a deep reddish burgundy along the edge.
